Happy New Year everyone. We went over Catherine's mom on the 31st and started to talk about all hurdles on the road to getting married (notice that the marriage has become the top subject in our lives...). Before we knew it was 11. Watched some TV. Again I didn't see the ball drop in NY. Maybe next year I will flip to the 'right' channel although I have to say that the ball drop is far from exciting. I actually can not understand what's the fuss is about and if they can no come up with something better. I think a normal clock would already be an improvement. We spent the night there. The next day, Jan 1, we drove to Oakville again to the Polar Bear Dip. No panic, we just went to see it. We didn't participate. At least not this year :-) It was actually fun to see it. Spent the rest of the day with her family.
