Google spurns RSS for rising blog format | CNET News.com. This sucks. I was just waiting for Blogger, owned by Google, to offer the RSS feed and now they decided to use another format. I don't care too much from a technical point whether this one is better or not but the problem is that my free feed reader, Sharpreader, doesn't support Atom feeds and I am sure more readers have this problem. I can only hope that this gets fixed over time. Right now I am having a RSS feed available but although it does it's job, it's not great and I am relying on a web site to create the feed for me so when that web site goes down there is no feed.
