I guess I have opened my official racing season (running that is) by participating in the Burlington Runners: Good Friday Road Race. A 10 mile race for me and I am happy to say that I was pretty happy overall. I ended up running faster than I was hoping for. Of course that amazing speed is still slow since I ended last in my age category. At least there was 1 younger men who slower than me ;) I guess I will need to pick races where more people participate instead of races that only attract hard core runners :-) A race report can be found at the Toronto Penguins web site.
