All the Canadians and all other non Dutch speaking people have no idea who this is but Dutch singer Andre Hazes passed away today. It's hard to explain to Canadians who he is and what his passing means but compare it to Stomping Tom Conners passing away. There isn't nobody in the Netherlands (of my age) who hasn't sung along with one his songs.
