The official re-org announcement won't be coming out before next week but today the axe has been falling in our building. And then I got a phone call from my manager's boss. We had been told we were safe but still... Anyway I was told that I had a 'box' on the org chart but that would be moving which is something I was expecting. That's all I can say right now since my new manager is not even aware that I will be joining his\her group. I don't even know who that manager is. All that I know is the name of my new VP. He actually called me up afterwards and after I hang up, the phone of the guy next to me started ringing. He was answering the same kind of questions so now I know that I am not the only one who is moving to this new group. Will be continued...
