Catherine and I visited the Canadian Autoshow located in the same building as where Catherine is working. Yes, we are in the market for a car. A second car. We went through all the dealers and verified if I would fit in the smaller cars we are interested in. Therefore we won't be buying a Ford Focus. The front runners for us are the Mazda 3 and the Toyota Matrix also because Consumers Reports gave them a good rating. A decision won't be made very very soon. We have plenty of other things to worry about and to pay for but probably after the wedding we will get more serious about it.
