How to make something bad even worse
I was just reading a post on the Accordion Guy's website which I thought was very entertaining. In it he talks about a moving company in Toronto, Quick Boys Moving that contacted him and asked him to remove a comment from one of his readers on one of his older postings. They weren't really happy with that negative comment and were threatening him with legal actions. Well, the funny part is that their actions and how they dealt with Accordion Guy don't really put them in a positive spot light at all. It's actually very bad publicity for them. Even if he would remove the comment, their actions completely had the opposite effect in the end: one bad comment less but one posting with ever more bad stuff about the company in it. Just based on this I would never use "Quick Boys" myself. The power of the blog...
