Sunday May 7, 2006 Sometimes I forget how much my life has changed in the last few years. Last week I remembered that again. While looking out of the window I noticed that we had some weed (no, not the one you smoke) plus some dry spots in our lawn. Now, I am not used of looking after these things. As a kid my dad would do that (although I would mow it regularly) and after I moved out I always lived in place where there were no 'lawn duties'. But the lawn I was looking at now was our lawn. It was my responsibility and I had to do something. So Catherine and I went to the garden centre at the Canadian Tire and on Saturday I was spraying the weed area with some poison and the next day I was spreading the grass seeds and the fertilizer after mowing the lawn earlier (don't be surprised to see some grass growing out of my hair...). I know this is not something really special for most people but to me it felt weird to do all this. More and more I realised that the next 10 years are going to be a lot different than the last 10 years. Things will be interesting, that's for sure.
