We had kinda hoped that we would be able to go away for a few days. Somewhere south but unfortunately financially it was not possible without going into the savings account. But then we thought that we could go North instead. And so we visited Catherine's grand parents again. Giving them some more time with Mariska too. I had some time to work on a couple of things and go for relaxing walks even when it was pretty cold (-12 or colder...)
We were supposed to go back home on Monday but the weather was that great for driving. So we got in the car on Tuesday...but not for long. An accident had happened and the road was blocked and the shortest detour would take 10 hours or so. The road remained blocked for 7 hours so we decided to return and give it another try the next day. On Wednesday we finally got home again.
