The past 2 days we dealt with water that was more in a solid form. Today we are dealing with the liquid kind: Mariska's first swimming lesson. It is a parent and tod program so I am in the water with my little girl and she never held so strong on to me.... Immediately when we entered the water, Mariska's eyes decided to add more water to the pool. Fortunately with some distraction I was able to stop the tears and even make her laugh but the rest of the 30 minutes 'lesson' was a cry-laugh routine. At least she seemed more comfortable at the end. Now let's hope that she remembers this for the next lesson...
